MEET THE AUTHOR
Amir Reid
Amir Reid is a Cleveland, Ohio, native, proud father, and dedicated community leader. A graduate of Central State University, his alma mater, Amir is also a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
Through his nonprofit work, he mentors families, empowers youth, and strives to create lasting positive change within his community. In recognition of his service, he has received two community involvement awards.
Guided by a passion for leadership, education, and service, Amir is committed to making a meaningful impact that extends far beyond his hometown.
MEET THE ILLUSTRATOR
Tiara Reid
Tiara Reid is a loving mother, talented artist, and aspiring art therapist. She is currently pursuing her studies in art therapy, combining her passion for creativity with a desire to help others heal and grow through artistic expression.
An avid traveler, Tiara draws inspiration from different cultures and experiences, enriching both her personal journey and artistic practice.
Her work reflects her belief in the transformative power of art to connect, inspire, and uplift.
THE STORY HOUSE CLUB
Our story starts with family.
Weâre Amir and Tiara Reidâa married couple raising five children, a family of seven with a dream close to our hearts.
We wanted to create a legacy for our children. Not just something to leave behind, but something made especially for themâsomething they could see themselves in, grow with, and love forever.
After going through many struggles, we began dreaming about what we could create together. We couldnât change every difficult chapter, but we could put our love into the pages of a new one.
That dream became The Story House Club.
With Amirâs words and Tiaraâs illustrations, we bring stories to life inspired by our childrenâtheir personalities, their questions, their big feelings, and their wonderful imaginations. Each book holds a little piece of our family and the lessons weâre learning together.
What started as something for our children became something we wanted to share with yours. We hope our stories help little readers feel seen, encourage them to be brave, and give families another reason to sit close and turn a page together.
For us, this is more than making books. Itâs showing our children that even after difficult seasons, there is room to dream, to create, and to build something meaningful.
One day, when our children look at these books, we hope theyâll know: âThis began because of us. We were loved enough to become part of a story.â
