Website Terms

These terms apply when you use The Story House Club website, create an account, or submit an order. By using the website, you agree to these terms. Purchases and accounts are intended for adults who can enter into a binding agreement.
Orders and payment
Submitting the checkout form sends us your order and shipping information but does not complete payment. We will send a separate secure Chase Bank invoice to the email address you provide. Your order is accepted and prepared for fulfillment after payment is confirmed. Please review your email, shipping address, quantities, and gift information carefully before submitting.
Prices and products
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change before an order is submitted. Your order confirmation will show the amount due. Signed copies and gift add-ons have their own listed prices. Because bookmarks are handmade, small differences may appear between individual items.
Shipping
Signed books are usually prepared and shipped within 2–4 business days. Regular, unsigned books are usually prepared and shipped within 7–10 business days. Processing time does not include the carrier’s delivery time. We ship to the address provided with the order. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by printing partners, carriers, weather, holidays, or other events outside our control. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address. Contact us promptly if an address needs to be corrected; we cannot guarantee changes after fulfillment begins. Cancellations, damaged items, and refunds
Unused regular books may be returned within 30 days after delivery in their original condition. Signed and personalized books are final sale unless damaged or incorrect. Contact us before returning an item for instructions. If an item arrives damaged or the wrong item is delivered, email us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and, when possible, a photo. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity using your sign-in link. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false orders, or use website content in violation of law.
Creative ownership
The stories, illustrations, logos, photographs, designs, and website content belong to The Story House Club or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Personal use of the website does not transfer ownership or grant permission to reproduce or sell that content.
Website availability and responsibility
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, The Story House Club is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses caused by use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy, changes, and governing law
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as our website and services change. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, without limiting consumer protections that apply where you live.
